Terms of Service

1. The service

Cúinse is a customer intelligence platform that uses AI-generated personas to simulate consumer responses to research questions. All personas are AI-generated. Outputs are directional indicators, not certified market research. You are responsible for how you use the outputs.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind your organisation to these terms. The service is intended for business use. Consumer use is not supported.

3. Account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at info@cuinse.ie if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that show signs of compromise.

4. Free trial and billing

Every new account receives a 14-day free trial of the selected plan. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, your plan will activate and your card will be charged unless you cancel beforehand.

Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically. Prices are in Euro (EUR) and exclusive of VAT where applicable. You can cancel at any time via the Stripe billing portal in Settings. Access continues until the end of the paid period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days’ notice by email. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the service for illegal purposes or to violate any law.
• Submit research questions designed to generate harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory outputs.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our AI models or persona data.
• Resell or sublicense access to the platform without written consent.
• Misrepresent AI-generated outputs as real consumer research in any regulated context.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice.

6. Your content

You own all research questions, custom persona definitions, and reports you create. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to deliver the service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.

7. Our intellectual property

The platform, our persona library, AI models, software, and brand are owned by INTLEACHT RESEARCH LIMITED or our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service during your subscription.

8. AI outputs and accuracy

AI-generated persona responses are probabilistic. They reflect modelled behaviour, not the views of real individuals. We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You should not rely solely on Cúinse outputs for high-stakes decisions without independent validation.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance at any time, with notice where practical. Our underlying infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase, Anthropic) may affect availability independently of us.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

11. Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms, or discontinue the service with 30 days’ notice. On termination we will make your data available for export for 30 days, then delete it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always at cuinse.ie/terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
